About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at GE Transportation. As a key member of our Quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Planning and Control: Develop and implement quality plans, and ensure that all quality-related activities are properly planned and executed.
  2. Product Certification: Manage the product certification process, including obtaining necessary approvals from regulatory authorities.
  3. Quality Management Systems: Ensure that our quality management systems are compliant with relevant standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISOTS 22163.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure that quality requirements are met.
  5. Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve quality-related issues, and conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on product development and certification.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of quality tools, such as Control Plans, FMEA, MSA, 8D, FTA, QRQC, SPC, and 5S. Proficiency in English language.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
