Job Title: Project Quality Engineer

As a Project Quality Engineer at Wabtec Corporation, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services. You will work closely with the Quality Director and other team members to monitor and control the conformity of development processes, based on APQP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and organize the First Article Inspection (FAI) in cooperation with all Project Core Team Members.
  • Manage the product certification and homologation process.
  • Deploy and drive the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and define the quality requirements for the project.
  • Coordinate the project activities related to quality with the different Quality line Functions, like SQA, SQE, and Quality operations.
  • Manage customer non-conformities (NCRs) following the QRQC principles.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • +4 years of experience in Quality (customer, warranty, projects).
  • Knowledge of Quality principles (8D, QRQC, 5W, FTA, FMEA, MSA).
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISO TS 22163 "IRIS").
  • Process and product audit.
  • Professional knowledge of English (French and German considered a plus).
  • Customer focus.
  • Good communication skills, charisma, and ability to influence others.
  • Analytic mindset.
  • Collaborative and teamwork-oriented.
