Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Analyst to join our Trading Compliance team at Repsol SA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with external regulations and building upon our existing compliance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform trade surveillance activities to prevent, detect, and investigate possible manipulative activities, policy violations, and/or other trading anomalies.
  • Continually improve the Trading Compliance program and internal control structure, identifying gaps and recommending risk-mitigating solutions.
  • Perform third-party due diligence activities, including understanding and monitoring international sanctions regimes and advising the business on other third-party risks.
  • Develop operational compliance tools, including policies and procedures.
  • Develop training and education programs and facilitate training sessions on technical topics to educate stakeholders on compliance impacts to their business activities.
  • Liaise with corporate functions such as Legal, Audit, Risk, etc. to support initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Law or Business.
  • Proven experience in similar positions.
  • Proven experience within trade surveillance environments and surveillance systems.
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory environment relating to market abuse.
  • Strong financial markets experience with knowledge within a broad range of markets and commodity products.
  • High proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to assess risks across trading operations and design and implement relevant processes/controls to mitigate them.
