Continuous Improvement Team Leader

About the Role
The Service Center Continuous Improvement Team Leader will play a key role in driving excellence in customer service and ensuring a strong culture of safety and quality within the team. This position is responsible for leading new improvement projects, managing and developing the team's capabilities, and implementing continuous improvements in safety and efficiency based on the Alfa Laval Production System.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring a strong culture of safety and quality within the team
• Leading new improvement projects to achieve excellence in customer service
• Managing and developing the team's capabilities to support the overall After-Sales Service strategy
• Implementing continuous improvements in safety and efficiency based on the Alfa Laval Production System
• Monitoring existing systems and developing new ones to achieve full process standardization, reduce lead times and variations, and ensure robust quality control
Requirements
An individual with a results-oriented approach and planning skills, and experience in process definition and continuous improvement. A person with strong leadership skills and ease in building interpersonal relationships. A dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, customer-oriented, highly proactive and energetic, as well as a strong team player. Technical education in engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering) and training in Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma are required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in mechanical repairs and maintenance, and at least 2 years of experience as a team leader are necessary. Proficiency in Spanish is required, and a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English is also necessary.
