Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to identify, grow, and land opportunities in the Iberian region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical teams to provide pre-sales technical support.
  • Deliver exceptional presentations, both business-focused and technical, to showcase Splunk solutions.
  • Attend and demonstrate Splunk solutions at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
  • Respond to tender documents, including RFIs/RFPs, by providing functional and technical expertise.
  • Develop and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Address sophisticated technical and competitive questions, as well as customer concerns, to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Create relevant presales materials, such as business cases/ROI, competitive insight documents, etc., to highlight the value, benefits, and capabilities of Splunk's solutions.
  • Work closely with peers and management to develop and improve working practices, standard methodologies, and presales processes.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual based in Madrid with experience in Enterprise Accounts through their professional career as a vendor. Experience can range from technical (infrastructure monitoring, RCA, ...) to functional (service management, end-to-end monitoring, and security).


Additional experience in other domains, such as cyber security (technical SOC, SIEM, ... to functional fraud, compliance, ...), is a plus.



Essential Education, Experience, and Additional Skills:

  • 5+ years of presales experience with security & APM / DevOps / observability knowledge.
  • Based in Madrid.
  • A degree or similar (preferably in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field).
  • Ideal to have some experience in business analytics, databases, and ML/DL.
  • Proactive and able to manage activities in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent verbal and written skills in local language and English.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
  • Ability to be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
  • You should be working for a technical vendor with a rapidly growing customer base.
  • Excellent team skills.
  • Proficient in Spanish and English.

Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per year.
