Job Title: GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer

Elecnor Deimos is seeking a highly skilled GNC Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced simulation models for spacecraft dynamics and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop simulation models for spacecraft dynamics and control systems
  • Develop and maintain tools for model validation and versioning
  • Support the development of CC-wide strategies for code re-usability and scalability
  • Collaborate with the overall system team to ensure seamless integration of simulation models
  • Interface with customers and providers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming languages
  • Experience with physical modelling and simulation tools such as Simscape
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work independently and on multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and providers
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new concepts and technologies
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Python and object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with XML and automatic code generation
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment
Language Skills:

Good level of English, spoken and written

Personal Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and providers
