About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate People & Culture Business Partner to join our team at Promote Project. As a key member of our People & Culture function, you will play a critical role in driving business outcomes through strategic HR initiatives and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams to provide day-to-day support, including policy application, compensation discussions, talent development plans, and performance management guidance.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers to drive business results and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategic people-related projects, including team structure optimization, employee engagement and retention, organizational culture, and change management.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team to develop compensation philosophy and reward mechanisms, and advise leaders on compensation decisions.
  • Support performance management processes and initiatives, including the design and implementation of new performance management workflows.
  • Partner with the broader People & Culture team to design, implement, administer, and manage people processes and systems to build and maintain culture across the organization.
  • Advise and consult on staffing strategy and hiring decisions, and support succession and talent planning efforts to ensure teams have the talent needed to deliver on their strategy.
  • Manage complex Employee Relations cases across multiple geographies, including the UK, US, and Spain.

Requirements:

  • Experience working closely with Finance, Accounting, and/or Legal functions in startup or scale-up environments.
  • Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation.
  • Experience managing and closing complex Employee Relations cases independently.
  • Ability to work closely with business leaders as a strategic thought partner, influencing and challenging when needed.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of and passion for Promote Project's unique culture and mission.
  • Highly curious and collaborative, with a willingness to seek out diverse opinions and perspectives.
  • Personal gravitas, with the ability to articulate thought processes with conviction and back up ideas with data and evidence.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight timelines, and multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Global mindset and willingness to work across international time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Generalist background or People Ops experience is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base compensation range: $89,000 - $120,000 per year.
