Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our golf resort staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport golf clubs to and from guest vehicles and/or group buses, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Pick up and drop off guest golf bags at the designated bag drop area, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Provide clear and concise directions to golfers, ensuring they reach their desired destination on the golf course.
  • Assist golfers with carts and equipment, ensuring they have everything they need for a successful game.
  • Distribute scorecards and pencils to golfers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Remove golf carts from storage and stage them for play, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Remove rental clubs for use by guests, clean and store them after use, and maintain a high level of organization in the bag room storage area.
  • Clean, detail, and restock golf carts after each use, ensuring they are in excellent condition for the next guest.
  • Document any golf cart damage or deficiency for the mechanic's review, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of golf-related areas, ensuring a high level of presentation and attention to detail.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the golf shop, ensuring efficiency of course operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Setup, reset, and break down practice stations, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
  • Pick up and wash balls from the practice facility, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ensure the security of all golf equipment in storage, maintaining a high level of vigilance and attention to detail.
  • Notify the manager or supervisor of any important issues as necessary, maintaining a high level of communication and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
