Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Participate in the construction of budgets, forecasts, and key figure reports to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
- Profitability Management: Manage and lead the P&L account of Portugal, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
- Business Insights and Analysis: Provide the local team with insights and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging business performance to drive improvement.
- Commercial Operations: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop business cases and ad-hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Target Setting and Planning: Participate in the target-setting process and plan follow-up to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Digital Transformation: Assist in the ongoing digital transformation of the consolidation and reporting function to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration or Economics.
- Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in a finance controller or similar role.
- Skills: Analytical skills with attention to detail and an understanding of the bigger picture, communication skills to present findings to stakeholders, and a team player with a results-oriented mindset.
