Business Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our Iberian Original Grocery Business Unit (OGBU) team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for monitoring financial performance, supporting planning and reporting, and providing valuable insights to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in budget construction, forecasts, and key figure reports
- Manage and lead the P&L account of Portugal, ensuring compliance with accounting principles
- Provide local teams with insights and analysis of results, identifying underlying trends and challenging business performance
- Understand and explain monthly and yearly variances
- Support the commercial organization in negotiation processes and oversee trade terms execution
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop business cases and ad-hoc analysis
- Participate in target-setting processes and plan follow-up
- Degree in Business Administration or Economics
- At least 2 years of working experience in a finance controller or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and understanding of the bigger picture
- Effective communication skills to present findings to stakeholders
- Team player with a results-oriented mindset
- Systematic and structured approach to problem-solving
