Procurement Category Manager

Catenon is seeking a seasoned Procurement Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead procurement strategies to optimize sourcing and supply chain operations
  • Initiate and lead regional sourcing processes to identify and engage with key suppliers
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals to achieve business objectives
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
  • Manage stakeholders and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Establish and update an approved supplier panel to ensure quality and reliability
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar position in the industrial sector
  • Fluency in English, French, and Spanish (Portuguese, German, or Italian are advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Office
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40%
  • Excellent soft skills, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication abilities
  • Results-oriented, with initiative and creativity
