About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Sustainability Performance to join our team at Dsm. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability strategy and ensuring the successful implementation of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of our sustainability programs.
  • Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on all aspects of sustainability value creation.
  • Embed sustainability into our equity story and collaborate with the Investor Relations team.
  • Lead the digitalization of the Sustainability function in collaboration with the Digital & Tech team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, with a focus on CSRD.
  • Develop and deliver sustainability reporting, ratings, and certifications in line with evolving requirements and business needs.
  • Embed sustainability into processes and decision-making to drive cultural change.
  • Ensure sustainability programs are integrated into P/L and balance sheet.
  • Custodian of ESG data and monitor the evolving ESG regulatory landscape.
  • Set up process for and lead sustainable portfolio steering.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in sustainability, ideally in a broad e2e sustainability strategy role.
  • Passion for sustainability and experience in leading large-scale transformation programs.
  • Proven track record as a leader and change agent in a global, matrix organization.
  • Academic Master's Degree in sustainability, international relations, environmental studies, engineering, economics, or business administration.
