Sales Productivity Strategist

About the Role
Sales productivity and strategy are crucial to driving business growth at Databricks. As a highly accomplished Sales Productivity Strategist, you will play a key role in analyzing sales motions, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to boost sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Motion Analysis: Conduct continuous analysis of our main sales motions across the organization, identifying effective and ineffective strategies and providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Map out the customer journey from prospect to first sale and ongoing revenue acceleration, highlighting key touch points and best practices for GTM engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including GTM strategy, operations, marketing, and enablement, to ensure tight alignment and support of sales motions and drive actions and outcomes.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators related to sales motions, AE productivity, and the impact of supporting programs, using data-driven insights to drive improvement and recommendations.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on the effectiveness of sales motions and productivity initiatives to senior management, informing annual planning decisions regarding roles deployed and incentives required.
- Documentation and Resources: Create clear and comprehensive documentation on the design of our sales motions, outlining various roles and responsibilities across different sales positions.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need proven leadership skills, with experience in GTM strategy and ops leadership roles, preferably in the AI or technology industry. A strong ability to understand complex datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations is essential. Additionally, you should possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
