Job Profile

The Digital Deal Strategy & Support team, part of the EMEA Digital Hub, specializes in simplifying complex deals and accelerating sales processes for SAP's volume business segment. We provide strategic advisory and streamlined quote services to ensure efficient sales & deal execution and promote standard deal practices.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Deal Qualification and Analysis: Analyze customer contract landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Deal Design and Commercial Crafting: Develop and implement pricing strategies, discounts, and other commercial terms to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • BOM Shaping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape Bill of Materials (BOM) to meet customer needs and drive sales.
  • Split Advice and Negotiation: Provide expert advice and negotiate with customers to secure deals and drive revenue growth.
  • Training and Coaching: Train and coach sales teams on deal strategy, structuring, and closure to drive sales productivity and win rates.

Expectations and Tasks

  • Be a point of contact at SAP for deal strategy topics, managing your own sales territory (assigned countries).
  • Become an expert in understanding SAP processes, procedures, and rules (revenue recognition, compliance rules, etc.).
