Market Intelligence Manager, Southern Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Intelligence Manager to join our team in Southern Europe. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
Your primary focus will be on analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for sales growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market intelligence strategies that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Southern Europe market, including consumer trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics.
- Lead the development of market intelligence strategies that drive business growth and inform commercial plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure market intelligence insights are effectively communicated and coordinated into decision-making processes.
- Manage a team of market intelligence analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Ensure the timely and accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of market data, using appropriate tools and systems to provide actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Validated experience of 5 years in market research, market or business intelligence, or related roles ideally within the alcoholic beverages industry or consumer goods sector.
- Highly numerical with experience in automation of large data sets (e.g. Micro-strategy, Power BI).
- Very strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, interpretation and forecasting/modelling (statistical forecasting experience with software like RCommander, Microsoft R Open, Jupyter).
- Consistent track record to derive actionable insights from sophisticated data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to efficiently convey findings and recommendations to partners at all levels.
- Experience in leading and developing a team is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
- Speaking one of the following languages: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Greek or French is a plus.
