Job Title: Head of Market Access and Government Affairs

Coloplast is a leading medical technology company seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our market access and government affairs strategy in Spain. As Head of Market Access and Government Affairs, you will be responsible for defining and deploying our market access and government affairs strategy to ensure the best interests of our business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Coloplast in front of official bodies, including the Ministry of Health and Autonomous Communities, and carry out Public Affairs activities.
  • Represent the company and actively participate in working meetings, decisions, and actions implemented by the Spanish Industry Association (Fenin).
  • Ensure precise institutional monitoring to identify and anticipate threats and opportunities for Coloplast interests, formulating recommendations for action.
  • Mobilize health alliances to support reimbursement opening/access.
  • Participate in the design and organization of media campaigns, identifying relevant institutional stakeholders, and understanding decision-making agendas.
  • Analyze stakeholder positions, define messages, and arguments.
  • Lead the national/regional market access (MA) and reimbursement strategies.
  • Develop and roll out strategic initiatives designed to maximize patient access to Coloplast products and services.
  • Ensure close dialogue and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development of pricing negotiation strategies.
  • Own and drive the overall tender process for all business units managing a team of three tender specialists.
Requirements:
  • Degree within healthcare/business administration and/or medical technology.
  • Master is an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position within the field of medical devices/healthcare.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare environment.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills combined with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
