Job Title: Head of Market Access Strategy

Coloplast is a leading medical technology company seeking a highly skilled Head of Market Access Strategy to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the healthcare environment to lead our market access and government affairs strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and deploying the company's market access and government affairs strategy for current and future products, ensuring maximum patient access to our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market access and government affairs strategies to maximize patient access to Coloplast products and services.
  • Represent Coloplast in front of official bodies, including the Ministry of Health and Autonomous Communities, and carry out Public Affairs activities.
  • Lead the national/regional market access and reimbursement strategies, ensuring close dialogue and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development of pricing negotiation strategies and own the overall tender process for all business units.
  • Drive the regulatory affairs area, managing a team of regulatory affairs specialists.
Requirements:
  • Degree in healthcare/business administration and/or medical technology, with a Master's degree being an asset.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position within the field of medical devices/healthcare.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills combined with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities.
  • Relational skills allowing cross-functional work and forging quality relationships with actors outside the company.
  • Excellent English and Spanish language communication skills - written and verbal.
