Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant Payable to join our team at ALPADIA Language Schools SA. As an Accountant Payable, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable ledger, providing assistance with payment runs and payables management, and reconciling bank statements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable Management
    • Manage the company's accounts payable ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
    • Provide assistance with payment runs, including verifying invoices and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Bank Reconciliations
    • Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and post financial reports on a weekly basis, including accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
  • Intercompany Accounts
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to queries and providing assistance as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills
    • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
    • Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
