Key Responsibilities- Provide expert support to the Accounts Payable assistant, addressing complex issues and queries.
- Manage employee cash and corporate credit card expenses, and oversee payments such as refunds and commissions through the banking system.
- Liaise with suppliers to address their queries, and oversee bank reconciliations and payment postings.
- Assist with month-end procedures such as bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and accurate statement reconciliations.
- Supply financial information as needed, assist staff with their queries, provide coverage for other team members, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- At least 1-2 years of team leadership experience.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, skilled in technical accounting, comfortable with Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills, keen attention to detail, and a high standard of customer care.
- Organized and systematic, with strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle high volumes of work independently and on time.
- Good communication skills, interactive and an interpersonal understanding.
- Quick to learn and apply new knowledge, with high levels of initiative, self-motivation, and a flexible attitude.
