About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our Culinary Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Outlet Head Chef in the operation and administration of the kitchen, and will have co-responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and managing all activities within the Food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Outlet Head Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
- Co-ordinate and manage the kitchen team, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement menus, buffets, and specials that meet the needs of our guests.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met, and that the kitchen is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in the development of new menu ideas and concepts, and work with the Head Chef to implement these in the kitchen.
About You: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, and will possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be a team player, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our guests.
