About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Jumeirah Port Soller. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Outlet Head Chef in the operation and administration of our food and beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Outlet Head Chef in planning, organizing, and managing all activities within food preparation.
- Maintain efficiency and diplomacy in all situations involving any aspect of food and beverage where the reputation of the hotel is represented.
- Ensure daily execution of SOP standards.
- Ensure HACCP requirements are met daily and implement immediate corrective action if required.
- Assist the CDC in developing menus, buffets, and specials that meet customer needs.
- Check all fridges and mise en place at each station at the beginning and end of each shift/service, including quality of stocks, to ensure consistent quality of MEP.

About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef who has a passion for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced Food and Hygiene Training.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or in large-scale free-standing restaurant operations, preferably in luxury brand hotels and restaurants.
- Good level of English; friendly, approachable, and professional; demonstrates excellent supervisory and leadership skills; works well under pressure; demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business; excellent customer care skills.
