Mission and Key Tasks

The purpose of this role is to manage the strategic development of the Benelux region in the Retail channel. You will create and implement a well-defined strategy, as well as manage a portfolio of key customers within the BeNeLux region.

  • Create and implement a strategy for the customers in scope
  • Develop, implement, and follow up key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group
  • Analyze sales and market data to develop new business opportunities
  • Manage market intelligence through regular store visits and communicate internally
  • Meet customers regularly, prepare materials, and communicate next steps
  • Manage commercial negotiations, sales development, and customer interaction
  • Deliver sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
  • Align forecasting and forecast accuracy with the demand manager
  • Conceive and implement range changes and merchandising based on best practices
  • Maximize return on promotional activity and measure its effectiveness
Background and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Sales or Sales and Marketing, with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience in a B2B environment. Experience in dealing with customers at all levels, ideally in FMCG, is required. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, with knowledge of French being an advantage.
