Key Account Manager BeNeLux HC & Retail
The purpose of this role is to manage the strategic development of the BeNeLux region in the Retail channel and the Healthcare B2B2C channel. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a well-defined strategy, managing a portfolio of customers within this region, and developing a winning long-term sales strategy for assigned customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating the strategy and goals for customers in scope
- Developing, implementing, and following up key account plans within the overall strategy for the business unit and group
- Managing all aspects of commercial negotiations, sales development, and customer interface
- Delivering sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
- Aligning forecasting and forecast accuracy, in close collaboration with the demand manager
- Analyzing sales and market data and using it effectively to develop new business
- Managing market intelligence through store visits on a regular basis and communicating in a timely manner internally
- Completion of customer-specific documentation
- Management of key projects and ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree, master seen as an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a B2B environment
- Experience of dealing with customers at all levels of an organization
- Experience in the private label market or related would be an advantage
- Language: fluent Dutch and English
- Knowledge of French is an advantage
- Strong/ proven negotiator & Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Analytical ability; able to crunch numbers and to think in a logical and strategic manner
- PC literate; advanced Excel skills
- Hands-on attitude
