We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team in Buggenhout, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our logistics operations and drive continuous improvement.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our supply chain planning department, including new products, production, and raw material planning. You will work closely with our production team, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless execution and optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and reduce costs.
  • Lead a team of supply chain planners to optimize production planning, manage inventory levels, and balance cost efficiency with stock level management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve capacity shortages, improve lead times, and enhance service levels.
  • Analyze performance data to measure success against key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or Economics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management function within supply chain, preferably in a production environment in FMCG.
  • Hands-on experience in at least 2 different areas of supply chain management.
  • Excellent computer skills, including SAP R/3 system knowledge (MM module required).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch languages.
