Ontex, a leading global provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Site Manager to lead its local Production and Maintenance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive performance improvement across working groups and achieve high-performance results.

About the Role

This is a challenging job that requires a strong background in manufacturing, lean principles, and people leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and be able to build on this expertise to deliver specific business objectives.

The successful candidate will lead and coach the core activity of production and maintenance teams to deliver manufacturing KPIs, promote a 0-accident culture on site, and drive elimination of losses/waste. Additionally, they will continuously improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and lead the manufacturing site through autonomous manufacturing units (AMUs).

This position requires strong analytical thinking, managerial courage, and decisiveness. The candidate should be able to motivate their team in times of change and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Giving leadership and direction to production and maintenance teams
  • Coaching Manufacturing and Technical teams in mindset and behaviors of leading a team and supporting the business
  • Delivering specific business objectives on OEE improvements
  • Identifying opportunities and creating solutions for elimination of losses/waste
  • Maintaining compliance of company policies, safety standards, quality specifications, hygienic rules, regulatory requirements
