Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions. We are seeking a Senior Key Account Manager Retail to join our Commercial team.

The purpose of this role is to manage the strategic development of the Benelux region in the Retail channel. You will create and implement a well-defined strategy, as well as manage a portfolio of key customers within the BeNeLux region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a strategy for the Benelux region in the Retail channel
  • Manage a portfolio of key customers within the BeNeLux region
  • Analyze sales and market data to develop new business opportunities
  • Manage market intelligence through regular store visits and communicate findings internally
  • Meet with customers regularly to discuss business opportunities and negotiate sales agreements
  • Deliver sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
  • Align forecasting and forecast accuracy with the demand manager
  • Conceive and implement range changes and merchandising based on best practices
  • Maximize return on promotional activity and measure/report on the effectiveness of all promotion investments

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience of dealing with customers at all levels of an organization
  • Experience in the private label market or related
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent Dutch and English. French is a plus
  • Ideally a background in FMCG
  • Analytical mindset, able to crunch numbers and think in a logical and strategic manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands on multitasker with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
