About the Role
As a Sales Growth Specialist for EMEA Markets, you will play a key role in expanding American Express's acceptance network in Sweden and Finland. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and close inbound sales opportunities received by phone, fax, and email in the assigned markets. You will be the end-to-end owner of a lead, from first contact through to closing the sale, account setup, and ensuring that merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express in their establishment.
Main Responsibilities
• Grow the American Express acceptance network in Sweden and Finland by managing and closing inbound sales opportunities.
• End-to-end ownership of a lead, from first contact through to closing the sale, account setup, and ensuring that merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants in Sweden and Finland to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Native or fluent level of Swedish and Finnish written and spoken. A high level of other European languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customers at different stages of the sales process.
• Previous sales experience is a plus, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with merchants and colleagues.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Salesforce is a bonus.
