About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Construction Project Specialist to join our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful and efficient roll-out of our new store concept, as well as the construction and fit-out of our new stores in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site surveys for new openings and remodeling projects
  • Prepare briefs for each new location and identify potential key constraints
  • Coordinate store design with the Global Store Design team
  • Manage the tendering process and GC selection
  • Create project schedules and share them with internal and external parties
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance during the construction phase
  • Report on project progress to team managers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage the handover of new stores to the retail team
  • Lead post-project analyses and optimize existing methods
Requirements
  • Technical degree in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a retail construction role, preferably in fast-moving retail
  • Extensive project management experience and excellent understanding of the total project lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, with an operational level of English
  • French or Portuguese is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
