About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Construction Project Specialist to join our Property & Network Development Team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful and efficient roll-out of our new Pandora store concept, as well as the construction and fit-out of our new stores in Spain and Portugal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site surveys for new openings and remodeling projects.
  • Prepare briefs for each new location and identify potential key constraints of the premise.
  • Coordinate store design with our Global Store Design team to ensure final drawings take into account premise specificities and legal market constraints.
  • Manage the tendering process and GC selection.
  • Create project schedules and share them with internal and external parties.
  • Monitor and manage project schedules within budget guidelines.
  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with suppliers and external parties.
  • Consolidate, communicate, and manage all issues and risks affecting the project.
  • Communicate project status across all relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate vendor performance during the construction phase.
  • Report on progress through all stages with the team manager and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the handover of new stores to the retail team.
  • Lead post-project analyses and adapt and optimize existing methods.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a retail construction role, preferably in fast-moving retail.
  • Extensive project management experience and excellent understanding of the total project lifecycle.
  • Must be structured, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish, with an operational level of English required. French or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in full and within budget.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex issues.
