Retail Store Construction Project Coordinator

As a key member of our Property & Network Development Team, you will oversee the effective implementation of the innovative Pandora store concept, along with the construction and outfitting of our new retail locations.
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:
We are seeking a dedicated Retail Store Construction Project Coordinator who will report to the Head of Construction & Maintenance and collaborate closely with the Iberia Director.
Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting site assessments for new openings and renovation projects.
- Developing comprehensive briefs for each new site while identifying potential constraints to initiate the store design phase.
- Collaborating with the Global Store Design team to ensure that final plans accommodate site-specific details and comply with local regulations.
- Overseeing the tendering process and selection of general contractors.
- Establishing project timelines and communicating them to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring project schedules to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Fostering strong relationships with suppliers and external partners.
- Identifying, communicating, and managing any issues or risks that may impact the project.
- Providing updates on project status to relevant departments to ensure timely completion.
- Evaluating vendor performance throughout the construction phase.
- Reporting on project progress at all stages to team leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitating the transition of new stores to the retail team.
- Leading post-project evaluations to refine and enhance existing processes.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- A technical degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a retail construction role, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven project management expertise with a thorough understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from contractor engagement to handover.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.
- Proficient in Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills; operational proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of French or Portuguese is advantageous.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying within budget.
- A knack for devising creative solutions to complex challenges.
