Overview
Position Summary
The selected intern will assist the Logistics and Customs division, ensuring efficient freight operations and managing costs associated with our Distribution Centers. The role aims to enhance service quality while adhering to budgetary constraints and addressing any challenges that arise with Customs and Transport partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and verify transport data within SAP, including costs, transit durations, claims, and documentation.
- Analyze and allocate transportation expenses.
- Manage Iberian transport logistics, maintaining direct communication with carriers, couriers, and freight forwarders; tracking all shipments to and from our Distribution Centers.
- Address and resolve issues related to deliveries, customs, or domestic transport.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely deliveries to customers and Distribution Centers.
- Engage consistently with Distribution, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Quality Assurance teams.
- Update material master records with relevant Customs data.
- Contribute innovative ideas and participate in projects.
Networking and Key Relationships
Interactions will be determined based on departmental needs and may include:

Required Knowledge & Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree or educational program related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Customs, or Administration.
- Experience: Not required.

- Ability to analyze shipping quotes (air, sea, or land).
