About the Role
The Freight & Customs department at Werfen is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trainee. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our freight and customs processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Freight & Customs team in managing freight in/out deliveries and costs, ensuring maximum service levels within approved budgets.
- Coordinate Iberian transport, including direct contact with carriers, couriers, and forwarders, to ensure timely shipments from/to our Distribution Centers in Spain and Portugal.
- Resolve delivery, customs, and national transport-related issues, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Distribution, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and QA, to ensure on-time delivery to customers and Distribution Centers.
- Update material master with customs information and contribute to projects with creative insights.
Requirements
- Education: Currently studying a career or education cycle related to Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs, or Administration.
- Experience: Not necessary, but a plus if you have experience in a similar role.
