Job Summary:

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled IT License Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT Asset Governance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information are properly governed and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Publisher Compliance, Legal, Purchasing, and Finance, to negotiate and settle Asset-related License agreements, ensuring Schneider Electric obtains the most favorable outcomes from external audit exercises.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact externally and liaison with internal stakeholders, such as Purchasing, Business, Legal, Finance, and other departments.
  3. Design and implement effective controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts align with Schneider Electric's strategic goals and drive additional value to the enterprise.
  4. Apply and drive the adoption of governance frameworks and strategic applications to ensure stakeholder alignment while resolving complex licensing issues to achieve compliance.
  5. Develop an in-depth understanding of the Publisher's business, goals, strategies, and industry trends and direction prior to defining the go-forward compliance strategy.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of IT asset governance, licensing agreements, and compliance regulations. You should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
