**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced IT License Audit and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our IT Asset Governance (ITAG) function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information are properly managed and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to design and implement controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts align with Schneider Electric's strategic goals.
- Apply and drive the effective adoption of governance frameworks to ensure stakeholder alignment and resolve complex licensing issues.
- Provide expertise in identifying, progressing, negotiating, and closing commercial settlement deals.
- Demonstrate effective project management expertise in influencing the closure of gaps with business partners and other functional leaders.
- Contribute to the team achievement of Global Publisher Compliance Services goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of audits and compliance-related experience, preferably in technology or software licensing.
- 5+ years of professional licensing experience in 2 or more Tier 1 software publishers.
- 3+ years of experience in providing specialist views on contract development and delivery, terms and conditions, and contract practices.
- 3+ years of experience in software business industry, with understanding of industry trends and direction.
- Experience in negotiating with external suppliers, particularly in complex transactions.
- Proven success in engaging, persuading, and developing relationships with senior leaders within the organization.
- Strong influencing and negotiation experience.
- Experience with executive-level presentations.
- Experience in project management principles.
- Experience in governance activities and ongoing monitoring of potential risks and exposures.
