Job Title: Global Head Procurement – Marketing & Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Head Procurement – Marketing & Sales to lead our procurement efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategic goals, driving game-changing strategies, and extracting insights to inform category strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategic goals from overall procurement strategy and ecosystem management.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Derive game-changing strategies by defining clear category objectives, working with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise, aligning strategies to measurable targets, and clearly conveying them to the organization.
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage projects considering priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results; define clear project scope and objectives; utilize software and tools to plan, track, and report status.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Support reports to determine appropriate compliance levels, monitor end-to-end compliance, and derive corrective actions to improve compliance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Manage data analysis and reporting, including analyzing spend, demand, supply markets, and competitors.
  • Demand Management: Ensure the right balance between business needs and Sandoz' strategy, working with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.
  • Sourcing & Supplier Relationships Management: Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods; prepare and conduct fact-based negotiations; adapt tactics from a broad portfolio of negotiation strategies to achieve results supporting business and procurement objectives.
  • Business Partnering & Engagement: Actively enlist SLT members and senior business partners' support within Commercial functions at global and regional levels, achieving results by proactively building long-term, sustainable, and effective relationships, understanding the stakeholder landscape, and demonstrating political astuteness across business structures and networks.
  • Change Management: Act as an impactful change leader within the PLT, for your team and with your stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and inform category strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and manage projects to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
