Job Title: Global Procurement IT Leader

At Mcr International, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Procurement IT Leader to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function to maximize contribution to business objectives, profitability, and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain a long-term category procurement strategy for countries and regions aligned with the business strategy.
  • Work as a strategic commercial partner to develop and prioritize change management programs and projects to enable short- and long-term objectives.
  • Influence and shape category strategies, tactics, and plans developed in conjunction with the global procurement team.
  • Lead research and analysis efforts to validate savings projections and enable more precise negotiations with suppliers.
  • Review key contracts for key spend areas and act as a subject matter expert (SME) to plan and lead complex negotiations or replenishment models.
  • Lead all levels of market RFI/RFP activities, including execution, reads, and case study implications.
  • Train the team in the use of sophisticated commercial models, reports, and forecasts to challenge and strengthen decision-making processes across the business area.

  • Work collaboratively with business and procurement colleagues to ensure a continuous development environment and effective individual and team performance management.
