About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Head Procurement – Marketing to join our team at Sandoz Iberia. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving category strategic goals and implementing procurement strategies that align with our overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategic goals that align with our overall procurement strategy and ecosystem management.
- Game-Changing Strategies: Derive game-changing strategies by defining clear category objectives, working with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise, and aligning strategies to measurable targets.
- Project Management: Project the dynamics and impacts of mergers and acquisitions, and extract, cleanse, and consolidate information to create fact-based insights for further usage in category strategies.
- Financial Management: Participate in and/or lead financial discussions, applying financial knowledge actively in the budgeting process, including tax aspects in sourcing strategies and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners.
- Value Chain Analysis: Map the value chain, analyzing it and deriving potential scenarios, including the understanding and application of total cost of ownership and should cost modeling.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Support reports to determine appropriate compliance levels, monitor end-to-end compliance, and derive corrective actions to improve compliance.
- Project Planning & Management: Plan, organize, and manage projects considering priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results.
- Procurement Tools & Processes: Support the definition and implementation of procurement tools and processes.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Manage data analysis and reporting, e.g., analyzing spend, demand, supply markets, and competitors.
- Demand Management: Ensure the right balance between business needs and Sandoz' strategy, working with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.
- Sourcing & Supplier Relationships: Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods, and prepare and conduct fact-based negotiations.
- Business Partnering & Engagement: Actively enlist SLT members and senior business partners' support within Commercial functions at global and regional levels, achieving results by proactively building long-term, sustainable, and effective relationships.
- Change Management: Act as an impactful change leader within the PLT, for your team and with your stakeholders.
