Global Procurement Leader

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head Procurement – Marketing to join our team at Sandoz Iberia. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving and implementing category strategic goals from our overall procurement strategy and ecosystem management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategic goals and objectives, working closely with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise.
- Project the dynamics and impacts of mergers and acquisitions, and extract, cleanse, and consolidate information to create fact-based insights for category strategies.
- Participate in and/or lead financial discussions, applying financial knowledge actively in the budgeting process, including tax aspects in sourcing strategies and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners.
- Map the value chain, analyzing it and deriving potential scenarios, including the understanding and application of total cost of ownership and should cost modeling.
- Support reports to determine appropriate compliance levels, monitor end-to-end compliance, and derive corrective actions to improve compliance.
- Plan, organize, and manage projects considering priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results.
- Manage data analysis and reporting, analyzing spend, demand, supply markets, and competitors.
- Ensure the right balance between business needs and Sandoz' strategy, working with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.
- Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods, and prepare and conduct fact-based negotiations.
- Actively enlist SLT members and senior business partners' support within Commercial functions at global and regional levels, achieving results by proactively building long-term, sustainable, and effective relationships.
- Analyze specifications for optimization, link specification to customer value, and challenge specifications confidently while conveying messages clearly and convincing stakeholders.
- Act as an impactful change leader within the PLT, for your team and with your stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement and sourcing, with experience in category management, strategic planning, and financial analysis. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
