Sales Engineer, Enterprise Networks Expert

Corning is a leading innovator in materials science. As a Sales Engineer for our Enterprise Networks division, you will play a crucial role in maximizing sales of our cutting-edge optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of telecommunications networks, commercial sales experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
This position requires travel within Mexico and potentially internationally. A bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Telecommunications Engineering or related, is preferred. Advanced degrees can be an important differentiator.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:
As a Sales Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Achieving planned sales levels and budgets.
- Conducting sales calls to implement account strategies and support business objectives.
- Maintaining a high level of knowledge regarding our products and their applications to customer networks.
- Acting in a consultative role to customers to ensure seamless product ordering, installation, and maintenance.
- Providing regular activity reports and sales call summaries to your supervisor.
- Closing contact and quarterly revisions with distributors.
- Coordinating customer care representative activities to meet Account/Distributor needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications networks and commercial sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Willingsness to travel.
