About the Role: As a key member of the Global External Content Management team at Boston Consulting Group, you will play a critical role in enabling and procuring research sources and tools for our internal stakeholders. This includes managing research sources suppliers, providing operational support, risk reduction, and acting as the central coordination point for stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of vendors across different geographies to ensure no disruptions to business, including renewals and contract negotiations.
- Savings Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on savings opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders to drive business value.
- Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Support and lead multi-country and multi-function teams through supplier evaluation and selection processes.
- Internal Business Reviews: Conduct regular internal business reviews of sources and planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate and set new vendor contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
- Experience: 4-6+ years of relevant business experience in the professional services industry, preferably with negotiation and vendor management experience.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of the key players in the information management industry, strong analytic and communication skills, excellent presence and business acumen, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
About the Team: You will be part of the global external content team, covering sourcing/contract management, sourcing operations, integration portal, and training communications. Your role will involve working closely with sourcing teammates, other colleagues, and business stakeholders/vendors globally.
