About the Role:
The Global External Content Management team at Boston Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Data Procurement Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of vendors across different geographies, ensuring no disruptions to business. Your expertise in research/vendor/contract management and negotiation will be instrumental in driving business behaviors and identifying savings opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of vendors, including renewals, to ensure seamless business operations.
- Identify and capitalize on savings opportunities through strategic vendor management.
- Negotiate and set new vendor contracts, leveraging your analytical skills to build negotiation strategies.
- Develop and maintain internal business relationships while managing external vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree with high academic achievement.
- 4-6+ years of relevant business experience in the professional services industry.
- Advanced knowledge of the information management industry, including key players, pricing models, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent presence and business acumen, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
