Norit Americas, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the South of Spain region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales territory, selling NORIT products, and generating target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing sales territory and selling NORIT products to generate target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from the customer base.
  • Developing volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results.
  • Driving both current and future value for NORIT by building a shared understanding of individual customer and overall portfolio profitability, focusing on where NORIT can differentiate itself at the interface with the customer.
  • Effectively communicating and negotiating complex sales contracts with customers.
  • Identifying new market opportunities and target builds; seeking out competitive information.
  • Establishing and maintaining processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business.
  • Leading NORIT's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service.
  • Providing leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of science.
  • Previous experience with activated carbon, filtration and purification technologies, food additives, or water treatment or working for a distributor is preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in sales.
  • Fluent Spanish and English language skills.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Results driven and business savvy professional who is able to recognize new business opportunities.
