**Job Overview**

SAS is seeking a skilled Senior Systems Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for enterprise-class SAS software applications and solutions installations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of complex interactions between multiple SAS system components, servers, applications, security providers, storage systems, hardware, cloud platforms, and third-party products.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with 5 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or a related business domain. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide technical support for customers using or troubleshooting enterprise-class multi-tier software applications and/or solutions, including cloud-based environments.

- Proactively communicate with customers and experts across SAS during the problem resolution process.

- Accurately document and specify information in the case management system throughout the case life cycle.

- Set and manage internal and external expectations, as well as project pressures at all levels of technical and business management.

- Build knowledge of business problems addressed by SAS applications and platform architectures.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex problems and business-critical issues involving SAS and IT technology areas.

**Required Qualifications**

- 5 years of relevant experience in software development, testing, or a related business domain.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience in managing escalations with assistance and guidance from others.

- Ability to create proactive support materials such as knowledge articles, technical papers, and sample programs.

- Experience in validating software fixes and reviewing documentation for technical accuracy.

- Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum.
