Job Description

At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Care Dx Organisation, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the diagnostics industry, where you will have the chance to develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. You will be supported by a strong leadership team and involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements and those of our company.

The successful candidate will have a University Scientific degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Clinical Laboratory. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as is the ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.

This role requires the ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel. You will also be required to work flexible hours as per the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems
  • Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team
  • Support key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers
  • Interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled
  • Travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel

Requirements:

  • University Scientific degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Clinical Laboratory
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis
