Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) - Newborn Hearing & Hearing and Balance (Audiologist)
Location:
USA Central or Eastern Region
SUMMARY:
The Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) Newborn Hearing & Hearing and Balance (Audiologist) role involves providing pre-sale and post-sale support primarily for Newborn Hearing (NBH) products, with additional support for Hearing & Balance (H&B) products as needed.
The CAS will collaborate closely with the NBH & H&B sales team by supporting product demonstrations and leading clinical conversations and presentations to promote the development and expansion of hospital-based NBH Programs.
In addition, the CAS will actively promote Natus NBH & H&B from a clinical marketing perspective, drive local market intelligence, promote the Educational Academies, and build a network of key opinion leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide pre- and post-sale clinical support of the NBH & H&B product line.
2. Assist the sales team with demonstrations and presentations of NBH & H&B product line and clinical applications of the system including hardware and software.
3. Travel and meet with clinical decision makers and key accounts to promote the NBH product line and assist with developing and implementing hospital-based NBH Programs.
4. Provide web-based presentations and demonstrations as required to meet customer needs.
5. Develop relationships with key opinion leaders to promote and/or enhance alliances with them.
6. Provide effective feedback to the downstream marketing team to tailor all marketing actions and collateral to meet local market needs.
7. Provide customer training and product in-servicing as required.
8. Assist in reviewing annual and monthly sales forecasts to see where you can help develop and close business.
9. Work closely with technical support, sales, and customer service and serve as a liaison to ensure customer needs are met.
10. Provide product and application training to current and newly hired employees.
11. Attend newborn care team meetings remotely or in person as required.
12. Provide and participate in company training sessions and presentations.
13. Attend trade shows as directed.
14. Review and stay up to date with new product offerings and provide insight into local market needs and clinical trends.
15. Stay up-to-date and follow all quality system procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers and conform to RA/QA requirements.
16. Maintain fiscal responsibility, adhering to corporate expense guidelines.
17. Participate in special projects as directed.
18. All other duties as assigned based on changing market conditions, company, and business needs.
Travel Required:
Extensive travel up to 80% of domestic travel and 5% of international travel
