Meteorological Installation Coordinator Job Summary

EDP Renewables Europe SL is seeking a highly skilled Meteorological Installation Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating renewables projects during the construction phase, with a strong focus on meteorological towers, installation, start-up, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in the coordination of activities for the supply, installation, and maintenance of meteorological stations to obtain data for resource evaluation.
  • Coordinate internal teams to provide services such as energy assessment, business units, and local E&C local support.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S standards and coordinate the preparation of detailed cross-projects working loads, including schedules, risks, and budget.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage contracts and external contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Monitor and control economic parameters, ensuring compliance with internal quality parameters.
  • Support in the definition and control of internal budgets and ensure correct payment of invoices to suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating renewables projects during the construction phase.
  • Experience in meteorological towers, installation, start-up, and maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to produce executive presentations and project status reports.
  • Fluency in English (B2) and additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian are a plus.
