EDP RENEWABLES EUROPE,S.L is seeking a skilled Meteorological Installation Manager to lead the coordination of activities related to the supply, installation, and maintenance of meteorological stations. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining meteorological data to evaluate the resource and develop strategic plans for projects in terms of safety, quality, costs, and time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation, Commissioning, Dismantling, and Maintenance: Coordinate internal working teams to provide services such as support to energy assessment, business units, and local E&C local in the definition of new tower positions and preliminary feasibility studies. Ensure technical definition of installations, supervision of correct execution, and process monitoring. Manage commissioning and transfer to O&M for permanent towers and maintenance for development towers.
- External Services Management: Identify and select companies to provide met mast services, supervise works, and assess results based on guidelines to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Provider Economic Control: Ensure economic control based on information provided by working teams, monitor and control according to internal quality parameters, and ensure compliance with commitments, prices, and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating renewables (wind/solar) projects during the construction phase.
- Experience in meteorological towers, particularly installation, start-up, and maintenance.
- Experience in negotiating technical and economic conditions of execution with suppliers and installers in the European Union and UK.
Language: English (B2) is required, and Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Italian is a plus.
Skills: Team coordination, willingness to travel, strong analytical and critical thinking, ability to multitask, and good interpersonal skills.
