Global Category Lead Opportunity

Perrigo Company is dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable self-care products that consumers trust worldwide. We're seeking an experienced Global Category Lead to drive one of our key strategic global portfolios in one of our European Head Offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of categories by influencing, collaborating, and coordinating cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive 5-year category strategy, defining a clear growth roadmap with a consumer-first approach, including product innovation, go-to-market strategy, activation platforms, and more.
  • Set category growth objectives, identifying key levers of acceleration and defining success metrics.
  • Manage the innovation pipeline, from concept to execution, and evaluate its success.
  • Drive best-in-class activation and execution toolkits, leveraging consumer insights and touchpoints in partnership with top-tier countries.
  • Partner with top-tier countries across Europe to drive growth and success.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team to grow talent within the organization.
  • Take ownership of the portfolio's P&L, including country tracking and A&P management, and drive optimizations and risk anticipation.
  • Stay ahead of consumer trends, competition, and new regulations, and integrate them into the growth strategy roadmap.
  • Report, track, learn, and suggest improvements by analyzing the impact of marketing actions on sales.
Requirements
  • Leadership skills with a proven track record as a strategic thinker and executor.
  • Team development and performance management expertise.
  • Stakeholder management skills to influence peers, leadership, executives, and local teams.
  • A proven track record of generating growth through creative thinking, NPD management, and 4Ps excellence.
  • A strong drive for results, a can-do attitude, and performance tracking.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience analyzing market data (IQVIA, Nielsen, IRI, etc.) and financials (P&L ownership).
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare, OTC, or FMCG, with a passion for leading by example.
