Director of Culinary and Beverage Services

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Food and Beverage to join our team at Hilton Barcelona. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading the Food and Beverage departments, including the Kitchen, Banquet Operations, Restaurants, Room Service, and Bars.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage departments to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing.
- Operations Management: Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Menu Development: Participate with the chef and restaurant managers in the creation and merchandising of attractive menu designs to attract a predetermined customer market.
- Cost Control: Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs among all subdepartments and monitor the food and beverage budget to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limitations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the individual outlets, including banquet service, to recommend new operating and marketing policies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Hilton Hotels Corporation policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Team Management: Hire, train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel all food and beverage management team members according to HHC policies and procedures.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent required; 4-year college degree preferred.
- Experience: Ten years experience in food and beverage, three of which should be from a management level.
- Licenses or Certificates: Food Service Sanitation, Alcohol Service Permit (if state-required), CPR certification preferred.
- Grooming/Uniforms: All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Additional Requirements: Additional language ability preferred.
