**Job Summary**
The Director of Food and Beverage Operations will be responsible for leading the Food and Beverage Department at Accor Hotels, driving strategic plans to achieve departmental goals, and overseeing the planning and execution of all food and beverage operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure departmental profitability.
- Ensure that each outlet is managed by a Management Team who are accountable for their profitability and adhere to established concept statements.
- Coordinate the formulation of the Annual Operating Budget and Annual Business Plan to determine outlet projected revenues and expenses.
- Monitor all costs and recommend measures to control them, ensuring that the Department Operational Budget is strictly adhered to.
- Ensure that all outlets and banquets are managed efficiently, adhering to minimum operating standards to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- Represent the Food and Beverage Department on the hotel's Executive Committee and participate in strategic decision-making.
- Recruit and select Food and Beverage Heads of Department who can work within the decentralized management philosophy.
- Monitor service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and banquets, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Handle all guest complaints, requests, and inquiries on food, beverage, and service, maintaining good customer relationships.
- Establish a rapport with guests and ensure that all Departmental Operations Manuals are prepared and updated.
- Coordinate the formulation of the Annual Marketing Plan to establish a list of marketing activities in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
**Requirements:**
- A luxury service focus, distinguished presence, and elevated emotional intelligence.
- Five years in a food and beverage senior leadership role in a large operational team with multiple outlets.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong networking skills with proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience in building a strong team culture and a record of high performance and achievement.
